16 november 1974: a radio message transmitted from the arecibo radio telescope was sent towards the globular cluster of hercules (M13), 25’000 light years away. the intention was to communicate with unknown entities the fundamental aspects of life on earth through 9 pieces of information encoded in binary code / collective SC4 relaunch the arecibo experiment with the new open call project verso l’altro (towards the other). express the vision of life on earth by imagining making contact with a hypothetical form of otherworldly life.
