the grammar of freedom this year’s artown now theme starts from the idea that freedom isn’t just an abstract ideal or a spontaneous state — it’s something learned, practiced, and built. just as grammar gives a language the rules and structures it needs to make sense, the grammar of freedom explores the forms, nuances, and conditions through which people come to understand and live freedom in their own lives / this edition’s added constraint: the poster can only use black, white, and artown orange.
