the poster plays with the two opposing sides of the usa. the hip, cool american brand versus the medieval machete that stands for the death penalty. nike’s slogan just do it. was inspired by the last words of an executed man in the usa.

my poster was selected by a community curatorial committee from all submissions, as well as thousands of posters related to capital punishment that already existed in there archive and is included in the traveling poster exhibition, dead wrong: international posters against the death penalty
